Brian has spent a lifetime in the meat industry, moving from farming in the Horowhenua to meat inspection for what was then M.A.F.
After completing a butcher’s apprenticeship, Brian was a relief butcher for Woolworths NZ, working all around New Zealand in that capacity.
After spending some time working in processing facilities in NSW, Australia, Brian returned to his homeland to complete a Diploma in Meat Technology at Massey University and joining Lake View in Horowhenua. He has been at Cabernet Foods since its inception in 2002.
Based at the Hamilton distribution centre, Brian overseas the Northern regions sales area and additionally works on new product development.
